Invitation To Apply For Financial Donations
If you’re passionate about a local charity or good cause we may be able to provide financial support (initially in the region of £1000) in the form of a donation.
Submissions should contain relevant background information relating to the cause/charity and detail the positive impact on the local community. For existing organisations, the most recent financial report should be included. Our aim is to select two main causes/charities which we can support during the year along with our normal community donations.
Please send applications to The Secretary at the address below alternatively email email@example.com to be received no later than 14 May 2018. All applications will be considered by the Board from which a short list will be compiled for members to vote on at the Annual Members Meeting to be held 12 June 2018. All applications will be notified of the outcome by beginning of July 2018.

150th Anniversary Book Signing Event
We celebrate our 150th anniversary this year. To mark this achievement a book is being launched with a book signing event on 15 May from 10 – 12 at the Radstock Museum. Members of the Society will recive £2 off the admission price. An exhibition of the Society’s history runs from 1 May to 30 August.
