Graham Jeffery, Society Director, is running in the London Marathon on 24th April 2016 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Graham’s family benefitted considerable from the services provided by Macmillan when his sister was diagnosed with cancer.
Graham said “Last year, I lost my younger sister to cancer. My niece's lost their mother and my family lost a loving, caring and amazing 65 year old woman. Cancer took my sister from us in just 9 short weeks. On 24th April 2016, I will be running 26.2 miles for Macmillan Cancer Support. The wonderful nurses provided my sister and family the support they needed when they needed it the most. At such a tough time with so little that could be done, the support and assistance they give was priceless. I'm running for Macmillan, so that other families can have that support and helping hand when they need it most.”
Graham has set up a ‘Virgin Money Giving’ page and is seeking donations with the aim of achieving his target of raising £2,500 for the charity. If you would like to support Graham in his endeavours, then please follow this link to donate: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserProfilePage.action?userUrl=graham-jeffery-london-marathon-2016

Graham is appreciative of all support and would like to express his thanks in advance for any donations made.
We wish Graham every success in the London Marathon and we look forward to hearing how well he has done in reaching his target of £2,500.
