Coleford Co-op Supports ‘Mutts and Friends’

Louis Curtis, Manager of Coleford Co-op was approached by local dog charity based in Stanton Wick seeking donations towards the care costs of dogs that have been rescued and are waiting to be re-homed or reunited with their owners.  Without their help many of the dogs would probably face being destroyed having been captured by local dog wardens and taken to the Pound.   Currently, the charity has 43 dogs which it is providing temporary homes to and so fundraising and seeking donations is a key priority.  The Coleford Co-op, together with local Pet shop ‘Pet’s Corner’ based in Westfield, donated dog food, treats and washing powder etc to assist with general costs of housing the dogs.
