The organisers of Taste of Timsbury, the festival of local food and drink, were delighted to accept a £200 cheque donation from Radstock Co-operative Society, to help towards the cost of running this year’s event.
The festival is on Saturday 23 September at Timsbury’s Conygre Hall, from 10am to 3pm, and will include more than 35 stalls sampling and selling locally-produced food and drink; cookery demonstrations; children’s activities; a pop-up café, street food and more. Entry is free.
The team behind Taste of Timsbury said: “We are so grateful to Radstock Co-operative Society for their generous donation towards our festival. After the success of last year’s event, we wanted to put on an even better festival this September, and we rely on the generosity of our sponsors to make it a success, as we have no direct funding.

“Radstock Co-op’s contribution is hugely appreciated and because the festival is centred on local produce, we’re delighted that our local Timsbury Co-op is involved.”
A spokesperson for the Society said, “Supporting local community events fits well with our ethos and we are delighted that our Timsbury store is able to demonstrate this through involvement in the Taste of Timsbury. We are confident that the event will be a great success and will bring members of the local community together for a fun filled day!”
