The Society's 13th Store opened its doors to guests at a pre-launch event on the evening of Tuesday 19th November where attendees got a sneak preview of the new store and the extensive range of products and services on offer to the local community. The store is light, bright and spacious with generous aisle widths making it easy to navigate, especially for customers with prams and buggies and for wheelchair users.
The store also boasts an instore bakery offering sweet and savoury pastries, freshly baked bread, breakfast rolls and Costa Coffee Express. Energy efficient chiller units and freezers have been installed to provide an extensive range of chilled and frozen products including ready meals, fresh produce, snacks, salads and sandwiches.
There is also an impressive selection of wines, beers and ciders, including many from local producers. To complement the food and grocery offering, a wide range of services are available including National Lottery, Health Lottery, Paypoint etc. as well as ample free parking.
Farrington Gurney Convenience store opened its doors to its first customers at 9am Wednesday 20th November
